Yevgeny Okun

Over the past few years Yevgeny Okun has managed the funds of private clients primarily investing in traditional debt instruments.

In 2003 Mr. Okun was an investment consultant of the VTB group in the acquisition of the largest printing house in Russia, Almaz-Press. Subsequently he became the CEO of the printing house group. Under his supervision the company, which had earlier experienced substantial losses, became profitable for the first time and doubled its turnover.

In 1995 Mr.  Okun managed the Millenium Fund AIG-Brunswick – a private equity fund with $300 mln under management.

From 1987 onwards, Mr. Okun was a Vice-President in Merrill Lynch’s investment-banking department in New-York. He participated in fundraising for projects related to airport infrastructure development in the USA.

Mr. Okun graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations in 1980. In 1994 he obtained a Master’s degree in International Finance and Economics from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
